Description
A technical lead developer for .NET Core applications is responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining .NET Core application for a robotics recycling solutions (Vision Guided Robotics – VGR). The following are some of the key job responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Job Responsibilities
- Leading a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining .NET Core VGR applications;
- Ensuring the development of high-quality code that meets industry standards and best practices;
- Developing design plans, phased solutions, and resource distribution;
- Participating in the design and architecture of complex software systems;
- Writing technical specifications and providing guidance to team members on coding standards and best practices;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement features;
- Conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and mentoring team members;
- Staying up-to-date with new trends and technologies in software development, VGR domain and applying them to improve the development process;
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
- At least 6-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET Core applications (ideally on a commercialized VGR product);
- Strong knowledge: RDB (SQL), Timeseries and performance metrics;
- Nice to have knowledge: OpenCV, Python, React, machine learning;
- Experience leading a team of developers in the development of complex software systems;
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
- Experience with modern software development practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results within tight deadlines;
- Ability to participate in customer facing meetings;
- Passionate about robotics, AI and technology;
- Passion for circular economy and environmental causes.
